Trainers | Trainers like the thrill of the hunt and battle, who doesn't? Controling powerful monsters that could potentially kill a human? Tell me that that isn't awesome. Trainers go through Phlox with one or two purposes in mind: capturing any/all pokemon they see or collecting all of the Gym Badges in the Phlox Elite. This doesn't mean to say that they don't dabble in other things as well... |
Specialists | Specialists usualy an affinity for one or two or even three types of pokemon. They are more knowledgable than most people and can even become gym leaders if they have enough drive (and fame). |
Coordinators | Coordinators are the people that give Phlox that bit of flare that every place needs. Obsessed with beauty, fashion and dressing up their pokemon, these trainers are more interested in showing off the moves their pokemon can do than going into a full scale battle-mode with them. |
Breeders | Self explanatory, Breeders run the daycare center in Phlox, tending to the baby pokemon there and breeding the adults to produce healthy, bundles of joy. Breeder rarely capture their own pokemon, opting instead for egg trades. |
Collectors | The collectors of Phlox are different from our specialists. Where specialists focus on building a strong team of pokemon of a certain type, collectors spen their time and money on pokemon that are already powerful and very rare. |
Lab Aides | Some of these guys are part of the original crew that Discovered phlox, and aren't afraid to flaunt it. Dedicated to logging and studying the local wildlife and their interractions, they get paid a hefty salary and rarely catch their own pokemon. Hiring trainers to make "Pokedex's" is so much easier. |
Civillians | Here we have your average joe, these people are more or less on the rich side, having bought their way into Phlox to settle into a new life, usually away from parents and/or the prying eyes of society. |
Police Officers | Police officers are here for your protection. Some call themselves Rangers, and are freelance game wardens for protected pokemon. Some are straight from military/police academies, while others are just there for the vacation spot and easy pay. Either way, they're your front lines against any and all criminals that pass through the Pearly Gates. |
??? Grunts | While usually the nameless thugs of society, some of these Grunts actually have the smarts and drive to work their way up the Ladder. These criminals are often used by the higher ups to take care of Dirty Work... (Sprites found in L-mon's DA) |
??? Executives | Team executives are the nastiest, most cunning of the evil crowd in Phlox. As much as we'd like to think this place is a paradise and safe from the corruption of the real world, it is not. Executives work in the shadows, allowing the grunts to do their dirty work, sitting back and enjoying the spoils of other people's work. They organize massive scams, rob people of their pokemon and nuggets, and deliver their threats and deadlines in the form of near-death experiences. It takes a particularly callous person to climb up the ranks, but it can be done. |
Wild Pokemon | You can apply to be a wild pokemon on this site. That doesn't mean that you have to play your specific pokemon all the time. We have SEVEN slots open for WP players, if you haven't posted a wp post in 2 weeks, then your account will be deleted and you'll have to aply again. We want players who'll keep the site alive by attracting people to rp different areas and things... Wild pokemon just join with pokemon names such as "Magikarp", "Eevee", "Meowth" etc. Nicknames will not be permitted as wild pokemon are catchable, and it is illogical for them to wander the "routes" building a social network with trainers who cannot understand them and who will undoubtedly wish to capture them.
