Not so long ago, the world's top scientists found a rip in the space time continuum in the middle of Hawaii after using your tax dollars in a scandalous afair--something to do with withholding the cure for cancer...... Either way, they made up for it by discovering a huge rip in the space/time continuum. What happened to it, you say? People flocked in, tamed a fair amount of the land and learned that the strange creatures in Phlox could not only be communicated with, but controled with the use of a simple device. They dubbed these creatures Pokemon; and the spherical contraptions that trapped their entities? Pokeballs.
